PLAYERS: Royce White
TEAMS: Houston Rockets
Derick E. Hingle-US PRESSWIRE The situation continues to get worse between the Houston Rockets and their rookie forward Royce White, as the first-round draft-pick is willing to walk away and quit his NBA career. White spoke in an interview with ESPN’s Colleen Dominguez, where White says that he will speak with Rockets general manager Daryl Morey this Monday to discuss his situation with the team. Sources say that White will plan to leave the NBA. The Rockets have already made it clear that they will be fining the 21-year-old for each day he is away from the team or a therapist session, however Houston has no desires to trade or release him. “We are committed to his long term success and we will continue to support him now and going forward,” a Rockets spokesperson said in a statement Thursday. White has yet to play a game and hasn’t shown up much at all since the regular season started in the NBA. White says that the team has been inconsistent in helping him, which led to him not being available at all this week during the games and practices. It’s truly a hard situation to watch, as White is still battling with his anxiety issues. Watching his tweets these past few days, I really hope he can get through this and continue on his NBA career. He has a bright future ahead of him, even though I don’t know at all in-depth in how he feels. But White remains clear: he will quit if he has to. This is my focus, he needs me #healthy… rich OR broke. #priorites instagr.am/p/SERm31ulld/ — Royce White (@Highway_30) November 15, 2012 The post Royce White Willing to Quit NBA Career appeared first on FootBasket.

The Royce White Experiment Is Inching Closer To Disaster

The Houston Rockets took a huge gamble selecting Royce White at No. 16 in June’s NBA Draft. Wizards Sign Shaun Livingston, Cut Jannero Pargo

The Wizards have signed Shaun Livingston.

It’s Friday, So Here’s The Ultimate Airball Compilation

Thursday’s edition of S.I.’s Hot Clicks contained a lot of gems (‘sup, Ashley Sky?), but none more enjoyable and reassuring than this compilation video of NBA players airballing shots. The first day of my Houston Rockets fandom was met with Jeremy Lin throwing up a Brandon Stroud-esque airball from three-point range, so it’s nice to see everyone doing it, and not just star...
