While Los Angeles may be "Lob City" with Chris Paul throwing oops to high flyers like Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan, perhaps the best lob of the early NBA season came tonight from Rudy Fernandez of the Denver Nuggets. Fernandez had quite the journey this offseason to Denver from Real Madrid via Dallas, but could turn out to be a solid addition for the high powered Nuggets. Check out this highlight as Rudy throws a no look, over the back of his head alley oop to rookie Kenny Faried for the jam. The basket also doubled as Faried's first hoop in a Nuggets uniform as Denver routed Sacramento 110-83. It was on the same court back in March where Faried and his Morehead State team upset Louisville thanks to another great highlight. [follow]

Oh boy, the Kings are in town!  I figure something along those lines must’ve crossed each Nugget’s mind prior to this evening’s game, because a visit from Sacramento has been synonymous with showtime lately.  Coming into tonight’s contest, the Queens ranked 29th in the league in points allowed… and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.  These guys had surrendered...

Traded Clippers not pleased with former Team

Over the years the Los Angeles Clipper have been the worst pro sports franchises in all of sports. Both in terms of record, moves of management and some much more. This pre season the Clippers made a trade that showed they were committed to winning for once. They traded away a handful of players to the New Orleans Hornets in return for superstar point guard Chris Paul...

Chris Paul on Jimmy Kimmel

It’s been quite a good new NBA season for the Los Angeles Clippers. They already boasted one of the brightest young frontcourts in the league with Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan and things only got better when the stole all-star point guard Chris Paul away from their Staples Center co-tenants the Los Angeles Lakers. The move instantly made the Clippers relevant...

Blake Griffin and Chris Paul don’t like the “Lob City” name

Ever since Chris Paul became a member of the Los Angeles Clippers, the name "Lob City" has been the top meme of the 2011-12 NBA season. The moniker promises visions of basketballular delight on the level of gumdrop forests and marshmallow clouds. What we've seen from the Clippers so far this season has been a work in progress, but the name persists nonetheless. Once...

Video: Chris Paul on Jimmy Kimmel

Chris Paul visited the Jimmy Kimmel show this week, and handled all of Jimmy’s jabs about the Clippers’ lack of success in the past—and his snide remarks about CP3 preferring the Lakers. He also talked about how he’s living, his recent marriage and of course, hoops. (H/T: I Am A GM)

Bucks-Clippers Preview

After years of futility, the new-look Los Angeles Clippers are suddenly anything but lacking in confidence. The same can't be said for the Milwaukee Bucks, who let another potential win slip away their last time out. The Clippers look for an 11th victory in 12 home meetings with a Bucks team hoping to avoid opening 0-5 on the road for the first time in seven seasons Saturday...
