The New Jersey Nets are not having any luck this season, especially since they could not get a Dwight Howard deal done, as of right now. There could be hope on the horizon though. According to the New York Daily News, Nets’ point guard Deron Williams says he’s considering picking up his one-year, $17.8 million option instead of declining it and trying to get a four or five year deal somewhere else when the season is over. “Yeah (picking up the option is something I’m considering). I don’t know what I’m going to do,” he told the Daily News. “At the end of the season, I’m going to figure out what’s going on, I’m going to sit down with my agent and look at every option possible.” The way it looks now is that Deron Williams will earn more money next season than if he declines his option and decides to sign with someone else. And when Lance Stephenson dished him the rock in the open court, he did just that. This looks more like something...
