Kings Trade: Thomas Robinson, Tyler Honeycutt and Francisco Garcia
Kings Receive (From Houston): Patrick Patterson, Cole Aldrich and Toney Douglas
Analysis: What are the Kings thinking? They just gave up Thomas Robinson, the fifth pick in last June’s draft, who has enormous upside as a post scorer and rebounder and could easily become a double-double machine and all they really got was Patrick Patterson. Yes Patterson can shoot and is an average rebounder, but his upside is extremely limited and he may never be better than he is now. They did part with Garcia’s contract and got expiring contracts in Aldrich and Douglas, but they gave up one of their best trade chips and a possible All-Star big man, for a mediocre starter and two bench players, wow.

With the Sacramento Kings about to be sold, most believe that they will stand pat at the trade deadline, but if any GM is smart enough, they should trade for Tyreke Evans, who could be the steal of the trade deadline. Many look at his stats and say that he is having his worst season to date, but that could not be further from the truth and if someone trades for him, they would...

Isaiah Thomas is one of the few positive aspects of the Sacramento Kings this season, and on Tuesday night he gave the fine folks of Seattle something to look forward to. Check out Isiah going behind the back with a crossover and finishing the drive off the glass and between two defenders. Great work by the little man.

This has been another lost season for the Sacramento Kings, who currently sport the second-worst record in the Western Conference. That lack of team success has left many to forget about the play of Tyreke Evans, who just three seasons ago was named the NBA Rookie of the Year.
Doc Rivers has been vocal about adding talent to the injury ridden Celtics, and it appears they have by adding Terrence Williams to a 10-day contract. Williams (shooting guard) appeared in 18 games with the Sacramento Kings last season and averaged 8.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 20 minutes.
According to the Boston Globe:
An NBA source told the Globe that the Celtics...
Rather than pointing out the obvious and saying the Maloofs are cheap pieces of craptastic amphibious lowlife ****, I'll just leave them out of this. We know they are worthless. Yesterday proved it yet again. The NBA was thrilled to hear they "agree" to sell the team to Hansen because if nothing else it illustrates one thing: They will have to sell to whomever the NBA...
