NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen was questioned Monday about a fight this weekend involving an autograph-seeker. The unidentified victim was left hospitalized with a head injury after the encounter that occurred outside Nobu restaurant in Malibu. Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore claims Pippen is being cooperative, after the former Bulls star spoke to police for about an hour and was released pending further investigation. The victim was inside the restaurant taking photos as Pipped had dinner with his family Sunday night according to authorities. When the seven-time All-Star went to the parking lot, the man continued taking pictures and asked for Pippen’s autograph. An argument ensued that led to violence. The man was then taken to the hospital with a head injury, and he was was treated and released. Investigators are interviewing several witnesses to determine whether Pippen should be charged with assault in the matter. Reports earlier on Monday suggested that Pippen had been arrested but those proved to be false. Pippen won six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls, was a member of the league’s 50th anniversary team and made the NBA’s All-Defensive First Team in eight consecutive seasons (1992-99). He was inducted into the basketball Hall of Fame in 2010. The post Scottie Pippen questioned over fight at restaurant appeared first on Midwest Sports Fans.
