But the youngsters made a push behind the splendid guard play of Ty Lawson and the overachieving JaVale McGee.
Additions: Andre Iguodala (Sixers), Anthony Randolph (Timberwolves)
Subtractions: Aaron Afflalo, Al Harrington, Chris Anderson, Rudy Fernandez
The Skinny: The Nuggets are loaded with talent but none of it at the superstar level. It will be up to the capable George Karl to develop someone into a superstar caliber player. On that short list would be Lawson. The fourth-year point guard has seen improvement in his numbers across the board over the past three years, including his explosion in the playoffs where...

Will the Nuggets ameliorate their record from last season this year? Most definitely. Will they be a Top-3 team in...

Denver : NBA Draft Grade C+
(20) Evan Fournier, SG; (38) Quincy Miller, SF; (50) Izzet Turkyilmaz, PF/C
The Nuggets got the best international player in the draft but this was a very week draft for international players. I think the Nuggets reached for Fournier here. I didn’t even have him in my 1st round mock draft. Fournier is a very athletic wing player that is...
Al Gore is co-founder and chairman of the board at Current TV. He’s not a political strategist, and given this comment it’s easy to see why. The Denver altitude has often been used as a scapegoat for bad performances. Remember when the #8 seeded Denver Nuggets beat the #1 Seattle Supersonics in the first ever 8 over 1 matchup? Again some people blamed the altitude.
