What comes around goes around as Serge Ibaka is learning. Ibake took an inadvertent elbow from Amar’e Stoudemire during Thursday’s Thunder-Knicks match-up. Stoudemire may now be Blake Griffin’s best friend after Ibaka’s low blow on Griffin last weekend.  You can see how bad the injury was at the end of this video:

Oklahoma City Thunder: Serge Ibaka Should Be Suspended For Punching Blake Griffin

Rarely does the NBA make the same mistake twice. However they just have, on their disciplinary decision regarding Serge Ibaka and his run-in with Blake Griffin. Run-in is a nice way of saying, purposely and with malice, punching Griffin in his lower region. The first mistake came by not ejecting Ibaka, even after reviewing the incident during the game and second, in not suspending...

Blake Griffin sends tremendous tweet about Serge Ibaka’s nut shot

Many different people have shared their opinions on Serge Ibaka’s groin chop on Blake Griffin, including those who felt Ibaka unfairly avoided suspension. Kobe Bryant gave a typical Kobe response, and Dwight Howard joked about it, of course. But the person with the best reaction of all was Griffin, who was on the receiving end of the shot from Ibaka. Griffin sent the following...

Blake Griffin Responds to Serge Ibaka Chop With Advice for Kid Blake

Blake Griffin was recently on the receiving end of some kung fu fighting by Serge Ibaka of the Oklahoma City Thunder. That chop has caused a little bit of a stir mostly due to the lack of a suspension for Ibaka (something LeBron James has voiced an opinion on). Well, Tuesday night Blake finally gave his two cents on the mini-controversy. Rather than just make some comments...

Blake Griffin with a clever response to Ibaka hit

Blake Griffin needs to be applauded for finding the humor in the dirty flangrant-2 foul that was delivered to him by Serge Ibaka the other night. While the NBA hit him with a hefty fine, Griffin wisely kept quiet until early Wednesday morning when he decided to get creative with a message from his future self: Kid Blake: Who are you? Future Blake: you from the future… Don’t listen...

Matt Barnes rips the NBA over Serge Ibaka incident

Matt Barnes ripped the NBA via Twitter Matt Barnes probably will be receiving a call from commissioner David Stern, regarding the statements he made via Twitter. Barnes didn’t hold back as he ripped the way the NBA handled the entire Serge Ibaka incident. Somehow, Metta World Peace found his way into the tweet when Matt Barnes said if Peace and himself had done what Ibaka did to...

Serge Ibaka Hits the Right Ball This Time

After watching this play I got to wondering something. Does anyone else think that maybe the NBA did not give Serge Ibaka a one game suspension for his chop to Blake Griffin's little buddies because they wanted the Oklahoma City Thunder at full strength when they played the Los Angeles Lakers Tuesday night? At least one person has already  questioned the lack of a suspension...

Serge Ibaka fined $25k, not suspended for hitting Blake Griffin in the groin

Is there a double standard in the NBA regarding fouls, suspensions, and fines?  Matt Barnes of the Los Angeles Clippers thinks so.  After the league handed out a $25,000 fine to Serge Ibaka for his groin shot to Blake Griffin, the league has been speaking out.  LeBron James and Dwyane Wade both think Ibaka should have been suspended. If you didn't see the punch, check...

Amar'e Stoudemire Gives Serge Ibaka a Facial

The New York Knicks were without Carmelo Anthony Thursday night meaning that someone--or ones--had to step up if the Knicks were going to be able to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder. J.R. Smith certainly did his best with 36 points for the Knicks; Amar'e Stoudemire added 16 to go with 8 rebounds, but it wasn't enough as the Knick lost this one 94-95. However, even thought...

Lebron unhappy with ‘groin altercation’ verdict from league

Lebron James spoke out on twitter about his displeasure with the NBA’s ruling to not suspend Serge Ibaka for the nut shot he delivered to Blake Griffin. Nice restraint with the “groin altercation” choice of wording, LeBron. So explain to me the difference? My teammate gets a 1 game suspension and 150k+ taking away from him for his groin altercation #strangetome — LeBron James...
