PLAYERS: LeBron James
TEAMS: Miami Heat
LeBron James, the greatest player in the world, with MVP and NBA Titles to his name cannot escape one glaring flaw, and that is his hair running away from his face. Sports Illustrated captures this perfectly for the cover of their new issue, commemorating James’ second championship with the Miami Heat in as many years. Is it mean-spirited for us to make fun of LeBron’s early balding? Of course it is. Are we pathetic for doing so? Absolutely. Does it make it any less funny? Heck no. And are those a few grays that I detect in the beard? Man, dude is 28. The stress of being the greatest really gets to him. Greg Oden will feel very comfortable with the Heat if they end up signing him. Congrats, King James. H/T SI

LeBron James Watched Old Michael Jordan, Bulls Finals Games During Title Run (Video)

Over the past year, the debate as to who’s better, LeBron James or Michael Jordan, has only intensified. Jordan certainly had more titles and career accolades, but many are making an argument that James is the more dominant player. But from James’ perspective, who better to learn from than the master and winner of six NBA titles? After winning his second career Larry O’Brien...

LeBron James featured on SI cover for 20th time

MIAMI (AP) -- LeBron James' final jump shot of the NBA Finals for the Miami Heat left him thinking about Michael Jordan. James told Sports Illustrated for a story released Wednesday that he spent time during this year's title series watching Jordan's iconic, title-clinching shot for the Chicago Bulls against the Utah Jazz in the 1998 finals. So when James made a jumper...

LeBron on Title Clinching Jumper: “It was an MJ Moment”

LeBron James is fresh off of his second NBA title and is living the high life. Silencing the haters for at least the rest of the summer, James left nothing to debate when he clinched the Heat’s second NBA title with this jumper late in the 4th quarter of Game 7. LeBron James’ Second Championship Inspires Song Comparing Him to Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson (Audio)

LeBron James didn’t mute the comparisons between himself and Michael Jordan by winning his second NBA title. If anything, he only made them louder. With James and the Heat claiming the championship with their Game 7 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday, a rapper in West Philadelphia was inspired to put James in the same class as Jordan and Magic Johnson. The song by Leaf...

LeBron’s’ SI cover: Great pic or ‘before’ photo in Bosley infomercial? (photo)

Not surprisingly, in light of his postseason heroics leading the Miami Heat to a second consecutive NBA title, LeBron James snagged the cover of the current issue of Sports Illustrated. But what is most fascinating about the photograph isn’t the clever way in which LeBron’s face is reflected in the trophy, but how his extreme [...]The post LeBron’s’ SI cover: Great pic or...

LeBron Still Hasn’t Taken Off That Hat…

The Heat won the title days ago, but I’m not sure anyone told LeBron James that. Here he is taking a picture with…people (didn’t bother to look them up, what am I, wikipedia?), and there on top of that huge forehead is that hat. The one from postgame. And the club after. And the victory parade. Does LeBron not shower? Does he know other hats exist in the world? I’m launching...

LeBron watched MJ during playoffs

Wonder how LeBron mustered up the confidence to knock down that clinching shot in Game 7? He watched the best. LeBron James said he spent some of his down time between playoff games studying Michael Jordan's Bulls and of course the man himself. So when LeBron hit that jumper over Kawhi Leonard with 27 seconds left in the decisive game, it should have looked very familiar to...

LeBron: Keeping Big Three Intact Is 'Ultimate Finish'

LeBron James has made it clear that he will not contemplate free agency of 2014 now, but the Miami Heat forward was adamant maintaining the team's current big three -- along with Pat Riley and Erik Spoelstra -- is critical. “That’s the goal," James said on Tuesday. "That’s the ultimate finish. We all hope that can happen, obviously, to be able to have success...
