Philadelphia 76ers center Spencer Hawes will see a specialist for his strained Achilles injury.
Hawes has missed five straight games and 15 of 17 due to the injury. He is in a walking boot and is not expected back until after the All-Star break.
After sitting out 10 games, the 7-foot center played in more than 30 minutes in two games before the injury flared up.
Hawes is averaging 10.5 points and 8.3 rebounds for the season. Philadelphia is 12-2 with him in the lineup.
