Philadelphia 76ers' center Andrew Bynum told reporters that he will resume basketball activities soon. In an interview, Bynum was asked if he had already started basketball activities, such as shooting. His response:"Not yet, but that's coming real soon. The next couple of days here I should be, you know, up to running and stand-still shots."However, he has started running on a treadmill and that he should be running soon. Running is an important part of Bynum's rehab since that will show how close he is to returning. As for a timeline, Bynum said he'll be back but gave no estimation.“I feel the way I feel when the summer comes and my legs are fresh. I feel like that right now,” said Bynum.“It’s possible but right now the doctor has said that it will resolve itself. It’s going to be either 100 percent fine or your knee will swell up and give us signals that there is a problem. But as of right now my knee is fine and I think we are out of the woods with that.”Everything that Bynum said was positive news for Sixers fans. Despite the team saying previously that mid-January would be his expected return, Bynum's rehab seems to be moving along smoothly. He has yet to play a game this season and without him the Sixers are 15-20, not where they saw themselves when they acquired Andrew Bynum in the summer blockbuster dealFollow @hoopsinjurynews!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://www.nbainjurynews.com//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs"); var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-34100676-1']); _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']); (function() { var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true; ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ?
