The Sixers, who WILL (?) be looking for a replacement for Lou Williams this off-season, need to consider signing former fan favorite Andre Miller. Miller a free agent, who played last season with Denver averaged 27 minutes per game and 9.7 ppg. Miller’s team leading 6.7 assists per game is why he would be a great fit for the Sixers. Miller is the consummate team player who protects the ball and would fit perfectly with Coach Collins style of play.

Miller in a Sixers uniform would be an upgrade over Williams and would provide the team with great veteran leadership. I, for one was disappointed when Miller departed. At the age of 36, Miller could still give the Sixers 20 minutes a game and more importantly improve the game of the Sixers’ starting guards. If the Sixers are willing to spend $4-5 million, they could grab one of the best guards in the league and also get a teacher.
