After years of rumors the Sixers moved Andre Iguodola in a four team deal. In the deal the Sixers get Andrew Bynum from the Lakers and Jason Richardson from the Magic. Last season with the Lakers Bynum averaged 18.7 points and 11.8 rebounds with the Lakers. Richardson is coming off his worst season of his career after averaging 11 ppg.

Iguodala the longest tenured Sixer never lived up to expectations in Philly. A solid defender the other A.I never was able to solidify himself as the go to guy when the game was on the line. In moving A.I, the Sixers get rid of a big contract for the smaller Richardson’s along with Bynum’s which  is in its last year.

The Sixer’s with a crowd at the center position with the addition of Bynum might be looking to make more deals. Not that Kwame Brown or Lavoy Allen will fetch much if anything. With that said keeping all of them gives the Sixers plenty of size in an under-sized Eastern Conference. If Bynum performs like last season, the Sixers should be the front-runner of the division.Similar Posts:
