LeBron James and Dwyane Wade rallied their troops on Sunday to produce a balanced effort that resulted in a 114-96 Game 3 win over the Indiana Pacers. Five of the Miami Heat starters hit double digits in the victory that gave home court advantage back to Miami who now leads the series 2-1. It has been a minute since we praised Udonis Haslem for a big night. He chipped in 17 points. Another recent ghost from the headline stat sheet is point guard Mario Chalmers who tallied 14 points. The Big 3 of course got theirs. LeBron James paced the Heat with 22 points, Wade drained 18 points and distributed eight assists. Chris Bosh scored 15. The Birdman Chris Andersen flirted with a double-double with nine assists and nine rebounds. The Pacers will have a chance to even the series on Tuesday. LeBron James made a few big plays in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals  but they were not enough to get by the Indiana Pacers. Now that the series is split 2-2, there are more...

LeBron James Swats George Hill’s Attempt at Fast Break Layup Out of Air (Video)

Now, this is a blocked shot. LeBron James tallied a rejection rarely seen outside of video games Tuesday night, swatting a fast break layup attempt by the Pacers’ George Hill right out of the air as Hill tried to dump the ball into the hoop. James did more than just control the shot — he had volleyball-like spiking action going on. Alas, Hill and the Pacers would get the last...

Dwyane Wade wears tango-colored suit to game three

In another edition of what Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade is wearing during the 2013 Eastern Conference Finals, below is his effort from game three in Indianapolis. Refs overshadow Indiana's bounceback win

It is never good when the referees deserve mention. Unfortunately, Twitter was all ablaze with some of the questionable calls that affected the final result of Wednesday's Game Four. Yes there was a clearly blown 24-second shot clock violation called that would have given the Pacers an 11-point lead, but instead kicked off an 11-2 Heat run to tie the game in the fourth quarter...

NBA’s Seemingly Contradictory Shot Clock, Eight-Second Violation Rule Really Not That Complicated

If people who honestly should know better are this perplexed by a clock, it’s probably a good idea to take their analysis of other things with a grain of salt. These NBA playoffs have featured a lot of inexplicable things. Who knew Tim Duncan still had this in him? Who thought LeBron James could actually get better? When will Tony Parker ever get his due as one of the greatest...

Heat scary, pummel Pacers for 2-1 series lead

It is the kind of game that reminds us that as the Pacers...

John Wall’s chest tattoo revealed

John Wall was long considered to be in the same category of top NBA players like Kevin Durant, Chris Paul, and Dwyane Wade who don’t have visible tattoos. Despite being tattoo-less early in his career, Durant shocked the world when his array of chest tattoos were revealed two years ago. He has gone all-out since [...]
