According to Yahoo! Sports, Amar’e Stoudemire will make his season debut Tuesday against the Portland Trail Blazers. Stoudemire has been out since training camp with a knee injury and has had no impact on the Knicks’ promising start to the season. He has practiced this week, but his conditioning could limit his minutes early on. There are questions as to what Stoudemire’s role will be when he returns from the knee injury. Stoudemire has stated that he would be willing to play any role for the team that is asked of him. With the Knicks’ success early in the season, many believe Stoudemire may be asked to come off the bench for the Knicks until he gets his legs under him.
