Coach Erik Spoelstra isn't saying whether he'll put All-Star forward Chris Bosh back into the starting lineup or keep bringing him off the bench now that the Miami Heat are in the NBA finals. Bosh started every game he played during the regular season and until he suffered an abdominal injury during the Eastern Conference playoffs, but played as a reserve in the final three games of the conference finals. Spoelstra wouldn't divulge his starting lineup for Game 1 on Tuesday night. ''I'll consider everything by tomorrow night,'' Spoelstra said on Monday. ''I think he can handle more minutes. We'll have to see. He was able to handle the 31 minutes. He had to come out a couple times because of wind, but I think each game we'll get better.'' Bosh missed nine games with a lower abdominal strain and has taken on increasing playing time since returning last Tuesday for Game 5 of the East finals. He played 14 minutes his first game ...

Bosh's return comes at huge time in Heat title run

Chris Bosh has watched the birth of his son, collapsed to the court in agony with a strained abdominal muscle, seen his team sputter many times during nine games without him, then dealt with the death of a masseuse who was stricken at his home. And all since this Miami Heat playoff run began. ''I think about those things every day,'' Bosh said. His run of emotional...

Heat's Spoelstra mum on whether Bosh's will start for Game 1 of NBA Finals

Miami Heat's Chris Bosh's return to the court was exactly what the Heat needed to put away a pesky Boston Celtics team that pushed Miami to seven game in their Eastern Conference Finals series. He proved to be a player the Celtics' bigs had to watch for, and was able to stretch the floor for teammates with timely three-point shooting in the pivotal Game 7. So it would...

Kevin Dunks Posh Over Bosh

Chris Bosh Indispensible at Both Ends of Court for Heat in Deciding Win Over Celtics

LeBron James had just finished off another playoff masterpiece, but through his lensless, thick-rimmed glasses, he would not deem himself the most important player in the Heat's victory. While James scored 31 points in the 101-88 win over the Celtics in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals and succeeded in getting the monkey off his back for at least one more playoff round...

Heat rise above Celtics, earn title bout

MIAMI As much as LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh chafed at the trash talk, the head games and even the pushups each time they have played Boston, deep down they knew there was a reason the Celtics, after putting Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett alongside Paul Pierce had won a title, lost another in Game 7, and never, ever went down without a fight. The Celtics not only played...

Who Are You Rooting for in the NBA Finals?

As the Thunder and Heat begin their NBA Finals matchup on Tuesday night, both bring intriguing storylines to the battle for basketball's top prize. The Heat are in their second try for a title with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. The team has weathered plenty of criticism in the two years since the new Big Three came together, and the players will be heavily scrutinized...

Kevin Durant dunks on Bosh and Anthony

In last night’s game 1 of the NBA finals Kevin Durant was a man among boys. The Heat had no answer for the scoring champ. Durant finished the game with 36 points on 12 of 20 shooting from the field. Four of those field goals were three pointers. Durant also added 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Two of Durant’s 36 points came on a highlight real dunk. With the Thunder trailing...

Miami Heat’s Chris Bosh should continue to come off the bench

Chris Bosh played a major role in the Miami Heat's Game 7 victory over the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals. After scoring a total of 16 points in Games 5 and 6 combined, Bosh torched the Celtics with 19 points hitting eight of his 10 shots from the field in that decisive Game 7. The Heat are going to need more performances like that from Bosh if they want to...

Heat Beat Celtics: Miami’s Three Survives While Boston’s ‘Big Three’ May Be Finished

Down 3-2 in the Eastern Conference Finals, the Miami Heat were faced with two must-win games. Losing to the Celtics could have easily led to the breakup of the “Big Three” experiment in Miami, and it could even have led to the firing of Erik Spoelstra. None of these possibilities need now be address as LeBron James and the Heat won the last two games, each by double-digits, in...

Heat Host Dance Party in Locker Room Following Game 7 Win Over Celtics (Video)

As much as it hurts Celtics fans to hear it, the Miami Heat earned their Game 7 victory of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Celtics on Saturday night. Despite all the talk about the referees and bad calls made throughout the series, Miami won fair and square, and they had the right to celebrate their second consecutive trip to the NBA Finals. And that’s exactly what they...

NBA Finals Preview

Finally, the NBA finals are here. Okay so maybe we didn’t have to wait the usual 8 months for the series, only 6 months thanks to the shortened season, but we’ve got the best matchup possible. And no Lakers fans, LAL vs MIA would not have been better. We probably would’ve gotten our butts handed to us and that would not have helped any Kobe/LeBron debates. We have two of the...
