According to KSAT.com, San Antonio Spurs GM R.C. Buford was arrested and charged for driving while intoxicated after crashing his car photo: nba.cominto a fence late last night in San Antonio.

Spurs general manager R.C. Buford was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after he crashed into a fence, San Antonio Police said.

A police spokesman confirmed Buford was arrested after crashing into the fence in the 500 block of N. Leona just west of downtown late Friday night.

Buford was taken to the hospital after the crash and was fine, however, he was then arrested by San Antonio Police. Buford did post bond and was released today according tot he report.

This is not good for the Spurs especially since the franchise tries to promote a squeaky-clean image and Buford usually leads that public relations charge.

For this to happen to Buford is unfortunate but since he is a well-known front-office person throughout the NBA, it does come at a shock.

Although he does not have to address the media since this is a personal matter between him and his family, should he decide to make a statement, he should take a page out of his own book and handle this the way the Spurs did when former guard George Hill had his photo scandal - just nip it in the bud.

What do you have to say Spurs fans? Shocked to hear this news concerning Buford?

Steve Kerr and the 3-Pointer

It’s safe to say former San Antonio Spurs guard Steve Kerr would not have been nearly as important to his five championship winning teams and the two with the Spurs if he had gotten two points for all those baskets he made instead of three. Kerr always benefited from having someone on his team who would draw a double-team and stand behind the arc and knock down shots at a ridiculous...
