Just weeks after completing a deal that landed Jose Calderon from the Memphis Grizzlies, the Pistons may not be finished reshaping their roster. According to ESPN’s Chris Broussard, the Spurs recently talked to the Pistons and Raptors regarding a trade involving 23-year-old forward DeJuan Blair. SA offered D Blair to Detroit but nothing. Hear Boston, Miami, Portland could have interest. — Chris Broussard (@Chris_Broussard) February 12, 2013 Nothing as of yet has transpired from the Spurs’ offer and it’s unclear if the Pistons are even interested. Blair has also been a guy the Spurs have been trying to move stemming from last season when the team essentially benched him during the postseason which in turn caused friction. The lack of playing time has also carried over into this season where he’s averaging just 13.9 minutes per game unlike the 20.9 minutes he averaged in his years prior. h/t: HoopsRumors.com, ESPN

Helen Zeller Inspires Us All

You want an early buy (or a repeat)? Throw down some nickels and make a purchase of one Tyler Zeller. His 16 points yesterday were the first since January 19, but the 9 rebounds, 4 assists and a block were not out of the ordinary. He’s had a block in five straight games, is averaging 7 rebounds in the past six games, and has 3 or 4 assists in four games this month. I wouldn...
