Larry Brown Sports:
Wednesday was a big day for Steve Nash in Los Angeles. The new Lakers point guard met with the media for the first time and took his first photos donning the purple and gold. He later attended the ESPYs which were held at the Nokia Theater across the street from Staples Center where Nash will be playing his home games.
Nash was singled out by host Rob Riggle during the show-opening monologue, meaning the lady by his side got some quality face time. That woman is Brittany Richardson, who has been Nash’s girlfriend for over a year. The two attended an NBA Finals game together last year and received plenty of attention when ABC showed them on TV.
Richardson wrote on Twitter Wednesday that she found out about her ESPYs invite at the last minute and that she was concerned about how she would look. She was worried about looking like an idiot, but she managed to avoid that.

Steve Nash was introduced to the Los Angeles media on Wednesday when his sign-and-trade deal from the Phoenix Suns was made official. Nash took some media photos and put on a Lakers jersey for the first time. You’ll notice that he’s wearing jersey No. 10 instead of 13, which he wore throughout his entire career with Dallas and Phoenix. No. 13 was Wilt Chamberlain’s number...
As part of Steve Nash's "Nash, Camera, Action", a movie parody series directed by Nash himself, he decided to take on Star Wars.
Makes sense seeing as how he has pretty much converted to the dark side and now plays for the Suns' rival, the Los Angeles Lakers.
Nash plays Darth Vader in the clip with Suns forward Jared Dudley as a Luke Skywalker-esque character...
MOVES LIKE DAMON
Previously on That NBA Lottery Pick, we featured a video from the fine folks over at Network of Champions that featured Lakers point guard Steve Nash parodying, "The Dark Knight Rises".Well, the latest video is out and this time Steve is doing a parody of the upcoming movie "The Bourne Legacy":
EL SEGUNDO, Calif -- If the Lakers win the NBA Championship this season, picture the newest Laker point guard, Steve Nash, leading the celebration at STAPLES Center. It may not be Shaquille O'Neal yelling "CAN YOU DIG IT?" over and over to a crowd of about a half-million gathered on Figueroa and Chick Hearn Court. But Nash promises it will be unforgettable.
Lon Babby had been preparing for the day when Steve Nash would no longer be with the Phoenix Suns.
Knowing it was coming didn't make it any easier for the Suns' president of basketball operations.
Calling the decision to part with Nash ''excruciating,'' Babby says Wednesday that last week's sign-and-trade deal with the rival Los Angeles Lakers was a...
Here’s some behind-the-scenes action of Steve Nash of his first day as a Los Angeles Laker complete with his first pictures in the Laker uni. Steve Nash is such a classy guy as he goes through all the introductions, but that yellow uni just washes his skin out. H/T I Am A GM
PHOENIX It was not quite an over-my-dead-body moment.
But it was close.
Steve Nash wanted to be traded to the Los Angeles Lakers?
When we first heard it, we had the same reaction that probably everybody in this community had, which was a visceral reaction that says, No way. Were not going to do that, Suns president of basketball operations Lon Babby said here Wednesday.
Another Steve Nash parody.an this time he takes on The Bourne Identity.

The Lakers didn't just patch a hole on the roster at point guard, general manager Mitch Kupchak landed one of the best to ever play the position in eight-time All-Star Steve Nash. The two-time MVP was acquired from the Phoenix Suns in a sign-and-trade deal. The Lakers traded a package of draft picks -- first-rounders in 2013 and 2015 and second-rounders in 2013 and '14...
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- Steve Nash knew the scene was more than a bit surreal when he stood in the Los Angeles Lakers' training complex, grinning and holding up a gold No. 10 jersey with his name on the back.
"Being here right now is something I never foresaw," Nash said Wednesday. "That (jersey) was a major hurdle for me just to get over visually as a player."...
The Los Angeles Lakers haven't had a great point guard since Kobe Bryant joined the team in 1996. Now they have one of the greatest of all-time to pair with Bryant in the backcourt. Steve Nash, who arrived in the NBA the same time as Bryant in '96, was acquired from the Phoenix Suns in a sign-and-trade deal that cost the Lakers two first-round draft picks, two second...
PatJ.R. Smith is known to fly a little off the handle on his twitter account. Well, he’s pure entertainment while soaking in the mess of an event that is The ESPYs. He has the line of the night (or morning, depending on which coast you’re on) with this tweet and photo evidence to back it up. Appears the assist may go to some cohorts of his at instagram.

The Dallas Mavericks may have lost out on the point guard sweepstakes in Deron Williams and Steve Nash, but they are still making moves. A nice move, if it works out for them, is the fact the club is looking to make an amnesty bid on Luis Scola via ESPN. They are also in the mix for [...]
