The Portland Trail Blazers are set to enter the Las Vegas Summer League, and while fans can be excited that the NBA has returned, there are a few questions we’ll have in mind as the competition begins.
The first question, which we won’t include below, is: Can the Blazers win the Las Vegas Summer League championship?

Oft-injured big man Greg Oden reportedly is scheduled to meet face-to-face with officials from three NBA teams in Las Vegas on Monday.
Clearing out the depth chart
As we traverse through the summer we get closer to the 2013/14 NBA opening night. The closer things get, the more Portland’s roster begins to take shape.

Remember Greg Oden? He was the first overall pick in the 2007 NBA draft out of Ohio State University for the Portland Trailblazers. He was selected before Kevin Durant. It’s no secret that the Wizards have struggled to find a long term option at center for what seems like more than 30 years. The team has found talent, but they’ve either traded that talent away, had that talent...
According to ESPN, Wesley Johnson has agreed to a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. The 26-year-old forward averaged 8 points and 2.5 rebounds in 19 minutes per game for the Suns this season.
The Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to a one-year contract with small forward Wesley Johnson, a league source confirmed to ESPNLosAngeles.com’s Dave McMenamin.
In terms of the most creative effort from Saturday in the Las Vegas Summer League, it has to go to Portland Trail Blazer guard C.J. McCollum.
In the second quarter of the Blazers loss to the Phoenix Suns, McCollum put together one incredible dribbling effort that ended with an amazing teardrop shot:
Clearly, he’s gets a 10.0 on the shot but about a 6.8 on the dribbling.
