Photo via Newscom Photo via NewscomThe National Basketball Association has released the latest voting totals for the NBA All-Star Game, which will be played this season at Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 20th.

And not surprisingly, the Phoenix Suns candidates aren’t faring so well. I mean, what do you expect from a .500 basketball team?

Grant Hill and Hedo Turkoglu are on the ballot at the forward position, Steve Nash and Jason Richardson are Phoenix’s guard nominees and Robin Lopez at center.

According the the figures released on Thursday, only Nash is showing up in the top ten in the voting at his position. Nash ranks fourth among Western Conference guards, behind Kobe Bryant of the Lakers, Hornets’ point guard Chris Paul and San Antonio’s Manu Ginobili.

If the voting were to end right now, the other Western Conference starters joining Bryant and Paul would be forwards Pau Gasol of the Lakers and Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant and (somehow) Houston’s Yao Ming at center despite the fact that he’s played in only 5 of the Rockets’ 25 games this season.
