The Phoenix Suns waived forward Ike Diogu and forward-center Solomon Jones on Wednesday. Diogu averaged 5.7 points and 4.3 rebounds in three preseason games. The former Arizona State player has played 225 games in six seasons in the NBA with Golden State, Indiana, Portland, Sacramento, the Los Angeles Clippers and San Antonio, averaging 6.0 points and 3.1 assists. Jones also appeared in three exhibition games, averaging 5.3 points and 4.3 rebounds. He has averaged 3.1 points and 2.4 rebounds in 268 games in six seasons with Atlanta, Indiana, the Clippers and New Orleans. The Suns have 15 players on their roster.
