September 9th, Knicks star JR Smith turned 28. His younger brother Chris took to Instagram to show off the tattoo he has of JR’s face on his back. He also shared the following to birthday message. Always got my back Chris is currently a free agent after being signed to the Knicks last season. J.R. Smith and his younger brother, Chris Smith, have nailed the whole brotherly love thing down pat, and have done so in the form of J.R.’s face on his brother’s back. Chris took to his IOnstagram account to show off the new ink and it was accompanied by a nice birthday message for his older brother which read:

It isn’t unusual for family members to get tattoos of other family members. Normally that happens when they are dead though.
