24-year old center Andris Biedrins has played in 4 games so far this January and he is averaging 20.8 minutes, 2.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.0 blocked shot per game. He is only 4 of 6 shooting from the floor so far this month and he hasn’t shot any free throws. Biedrins needs to get mean because he’s a potential double/double every night he walks on the court when he is in the right frame of mind. Biedrins has played in 29 games (all starts) for the Warriors so far this year and he is averaging 26.8 minutes, 6.0 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game. He is shooting 54.1% from the floor but he is only 5 of 20 (25%) from the free throw line this year. It is just unacceptable that Biedrins gets to the line so few times despite his obvious physical ability. The Warriors need him to step up.
