The Warriors have signed 29-year old center Kwame Brown to a 1-year, $7 million dollar deal. Brown played in 66 games (50 starts) for the Bobcats last year and he averaged 26.0 minutes, 7.9 points, 6.8 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game. He has now played in 576 games (127 starts) in his NBA career and he is averaging 22.5 minutes, 6.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game. Brown will compete with Andris Biedrins for the right to start at center for the Warriors in 2011-12.
