PLAYERS: Tom Thibodeau
Rapper, Waka Flocka Flame, set Twitter ablaze Tuesday night when he tweeted out to his 1.5 million plus followers, “Word is D.Rose back #HolySh*t.”  Tom Thibodeau was asked after Wednesday’s shootaround if he had heard of the rapper and his remarks after he labeled Rose “out” for the marquee matchup with the Heat later that night. Chicago Tribune beat writer, K.C. Johnson, transcribed the hard-nosed coach’s ensuing response. I will say at least today produced career highlight: Thibodeau saying he had heard of rapper Wacka Flocka Flame, who I guess said DRose back. Direct transcript: “Tom, have you heard of Waka Flocka Flame?” Thibs: “The rapper you’re talking about?” I may retire now.” “Tom, Waka Flocka Flame’s got a song called ‘Hard in Da Paint.’ ” Thibs: “I’m for that. I like him more now.”
