I appreciate the heart and hustle of Zach Randolph, Marc Gasol, Mike Conley, and newcomer Tayshaun Prince.  I dig their blue collar and scrappy style of play. The 2013-2014 promo’s started from the bottom, now we here story of the Grizzlies resonated with me.  The promo made me care about Memphis basketball.  But to be honest, I think the T-Mac cameo is really what did me in.  Preying on my emotions in that way was so not cool, especially because he played for the Spurs, not the Grizzlies.  But I digress. Bottom line is, the Grizzlies have arrived.  After three consecutive trips to the playoffs, and a Western Conference Finals appearance last season, the Grizzlies are no longer sleepers or underdogs, they’re bonafide contenders.  Expectations for the Grizzlies are high among a deep Western Conference — Oklahoma City Thunder, San Antonio Spurs, LA Clippers, Golden State Warriors, and the Houston Rockets. NBA preseason basketball.  October 5. Get excited! -@itsshanarenee Props:  ProBasketballTalk.com

Check out this assist that he had to a streaking Sergio Llull, which is as good as it gets. It definitely looked like he heaved it up recklessly, but the result proves that wrong. The only man better...

Grizzlies are ESPN's top sports franchise

There was a time when the Grizzlies were the sorriest franchise in all of sports. Garish green jerseys. Bryant "Big Country" Reeves. An ignomious Playoff losing streak (three straight years getting swept out of the first round). The Allen Iverson disaster. Those days are long behind this franchise. Now, they might very well be the envy of the sports world after...
