Found December 27, 2012 on NBA 24/7 365:

And this, my friends, is why you always stick around for the last couple minutes of that blowout.  You’ve already invested some amount of your valuable time into an awful game anyway, so why not make absolutely sure you don’t happen to miss something as spectacular as the windmill slam that Thomas Robinson threw down against the Blazers last night?  While it ultimately goes down as the most meaningless field goal (ESPN’s play-by-play actually describes it as a “layup”) of an insignificant game, it was probably the single most exciting moment of the whole damn thing.  As a matter of fact, this Thomas Robinson dunk may very well represent the climax of Sacramento’s entire season series with Portland.  Of the four games they played, not a single one was decided by fewer than 12 points.  Nope, not even the one the Blazers lost. As much as I appreciate Thomas Robinson’s garbage-time heroics, I think I speak for all NBA fans when I say I’m glad that these two teams are done playing each other for the season.  On three of the four nights that they met, no game tipped off later… meaning that Kings/Blazers was the only choice after like 11 or 12 o’clock.  Why, schedulers, WHY?!

DeMarcus Cousins standoffish with media

We all know DeMarcus Cousins has had a challenging year with the Sacramento Kings, but give him credit for not letting his frustrations show. On Thursday, Cousins spoke with the media during practice. As you can see, he was enthusiastic, upbeat, courteous and gave extremely thorough responses. But seriously, how sick of Sacramento is this guy? Cousins missed the last two games as...

How to Fix the Sacramento Kings’ Franchise

Last week at Hoopstuff I detailed possible trade scenarios for former rookie of the year, Tyreke Evans, who still has star potential, but does not fit on the Sacramento Kings. The club-imposed suspension that Sacramento Kings’ center DeMarcus Cousins received just before Christmas didn’t last very long. Cousins boogies out of interview about suspension

Hah… see what I did there with the headline? That’s a much fun as we’re going to have here, people, as the DeMarcus Cousins saga continues its swirl down the toilet in Sacramento. I know a lot of you are openly lobbying for Cousins to join the C’s.  And on pure talent alone, he could be a massive help.  But the guy you see in the video is comes with all that talent, and...

Sacramento has a Cousins problem

A midwinter night´s dream: DeMarcus Cousins

Building Momentum The Portland Trail Blazers took to the court on Wednesday evening as they looked to avenge a loss they suffered just three days ago to the Sacramento Kings. Not at all resembling the team that lost to a mediocre Sacramento team just a few days ago, Portland jumped...

PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Portland Trail Blazers were riding a season-high, five-game winning streak before they lost to the Kings in Sacramento on Sunday. When the teams met again Wednesday night at the Rose Garden, the Blazers could do no wrong and the Kings could do very little right.
