OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -- Stephen Curry had 31 points and seven assists, David Lee finished with 22 points and 12 rebounds and the Golden State Warriors outlasted the Oklahoma City Thunder 104-99 on Wednesday night. On the eve of the announcement for All-Star reserves, Golden State's top two candidates made a lasting impression. Curry matched Kevin Durant's spectacular scores all game, stole a pass from the Thunder's leading man in the final seconds and hit a pair of free throws to seal Golden State's third straight victory. Lee helped the Warriors outrebound Oklahoma City's lengthy frontline 40-39 and made some big plays late.

Steph Curry shimmies after making shot

For the second game in a row, Stephen Curry came up big as the Warriors bested one of the league’s top dogs. On Monday it was against the Clippers. Wednesday night, helped by a huge third quarter, it was the league-leading Thunder. Curry (31 points, 7 assists) had 13 points in the third, highlighted by this sweet floater that led to a three-point play and extended the Warriors’...

Video: Stephen Curry with an awesome bounce pass

Yep, we are showing you a clip that highlights a bounce pass. It really is a lost art at this point. There would be so many less turnovers at each level of the game of basketball, if players would utilize like Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry did last night against the Clippers. Just watch this beauty. No look passes or lobs often get a lot of dap on SportsCenter and...

Warriors' Curry merely seeing stars

Well, at least Stephen Curry took the news well. Curry, of course, is the point guard for the resurgent Golden State Warriors, a fourth-year pro whos averaging 20.9 points and 6.6 assists, and shooting 45 percent on three-pointers. Most folks will tell you Curry is the main reason the Warriors have gone from spending nearly a decade in the dumps to a real threat in the Western...

With a badly damaged ankle, will Stephen Curry prove unable to standout for the Golden State Warriors?

Despite continuing to battle a chronic ankle injury, elite shooting guard Stephen Curry scored 28 points to lead the Gold State Warriors to a 106-99 victory over the dominant Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night at Oracle Arena in Oakland. Curry, who the Warriors (25-15) took out of Davidson College with the seventh pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, has primarily managed to remain healthy...

David Lee named to all-star team; Stephen Curry snubbed

For the first time in 15 season, the Golden State Warriors will have a representative in the NBA All-Star game. But in this case, “representative” will remain singular. David Lee was named to the West squad on Thursday, with Stephen Curry and his shimmy shaking left off as a snub. Curry, averaging 20.9 points, 6.6 assists, 4.1 rebounds, and arguably the Warriors’ MVP, will...

Stephen Curry Pass of the Year to Jarrett Jack (Video)

The Golden State Warriors have surprised me a little bit this year.  They upset the Clippers last night and moved to 25-15, which is currently the 5th spot in the Western Conference.  Stephen Curry is averaging 20 points a game and almost 7 assists.  None of his assists were close to as good as the one he had last night though.  The announcer even gives him a Magic Johnson comparison...

Warriors rally, cool off Thunder

Stephen Curry had 31 points and seven assists, David Lee finished with 22 points and 12 rebounds and the Golden State Warriors outlasted the Oklahoma City Thunder 104-99 on Wednesday night. On the eve of the announcement for All-Star reserves, Golden State's top two candidates made a lasting impression. Curry matched Kevin Durant's spectacular scores all game, stole a pass...

All-Star selections are nice but don’t define a season

When news broke Thursday afternoon that only David Lee, and not Stephen Curry, was named to the all-star game, immediate reaction in Warriors Nation was a potent combination of disgust, insult, shock and grief. Yes, the tormented fanbase that for many years longed for a single all-star, was actually pissed off that it didn’t have two all-stars. Come on, you’ve gotta admit that’s...

Warriors-Bulls Preview

The Chicago Bulls and Golden State Warriors have reached the season's midpoint as perhaps two of the league's biggest surprises. In recognition for their success, two Bulls were selected to the All-Star game while the Warriors are sending one to the showcase for the first time in 16 years. Golden State, however, probably feels it deserved two. Two days after leading the...

Thunder-Warriors Preview

Kevin Durant's status as the NBA's leading scorer isn't much of a surprise, but he's been particularly impressive during the Oklahoma City's recent success on the road. Stephen Curry's impressive shooting has the Golden State Warriors regaining momentum. Durant and the NBA-best Thunder go for an eighth win in nine tries Wednesday night, when they attempt...

Suns 106, Kings 96

SACRAMENTO -- The Suns, one of the NBA's worst road teams, scored a rare victory away from Phoenix, beating the Sacramento Kings 106-96 Wednesday night before a crowd of 12,741 at Sleep Train Arena. Phoenix forward Michael Beasley has struggled all season, but he always plays well against the Kings. Wednesday night was no exception. He came off the bench to score 19 points...
