Beyond The Buzzer:
French point guard, Tony Parker, attempted to get a bite to eat at a French-Creole restaurant in Memphis Friday night when he was denied service. The Spurs are in town to play the Grizzlies in Game 3 & 4 of the Western Conference Finals on Saturday and Monday. What was first reported as a rumor was later confirmed on Twitter by the head chef of Restaurant Iris, Kelly English. Restaurant Iris later joined in on Twitter hash tagging the Grizzlies playoff catchphrase “We Don’t Bluff.” The popular restaurant was named “Best Restaurant,” “Best Service,” and “Best Chef” by Memphis Magazine in 2010 thru 2012.

TABLE FOR NONE
Tony Parker recently tried to get a table at an exclusive restaurant in Memphis only to be turned away at the door, but not because he plays for the rival Spurs.
Tony Parker probably can get a table at any restaurant in San Antonio, but not in Memphis.
The Spurs star was turned away from Restaurant Iris, a trendy Memphis eatery, this week and the chef, Kelly English, wasn't shy about it. But he says it wasn't because Parker plays for the Spurs, who lead the Grizzlies 2-0 in the West finals.

The first two games served as a reminder that the Spurs' offense is a Tony Parker first offense and that when he's aggressive, it's a really good offense. Game 2 was a prime example of how Parker, despite having a dreadful shooting night, stayed aggressive and found his teammates on his way to 18 assists. Memphis Grizzlies guard Mike Conley, Jr. said after the game...
Tony Parker has been the player so far in the Western Conference, and nothing was different in Game 2 of the Spurs and Grizzlies series. Parker set a career high in assists with 18. The Grizzlies had no answer for him.
Parker finished the game with 15 points, 18 assists, 5 rebounds, and 5 steals. Talk about a stat sheet stuffer. For the entire playoffs Parker is averaging 21.6 points...
I love the atmosphere and competitiveness of the NBA playoffs. There's really nothing like it. I also don't mind some friendly trash talk among Spurs fans and fans of opposing teams, and I'm all about a city getting behind their team.
But at some point, there's a line to where fun and games and a little friendly competition ends and unnecessary behavior starts...

Even the Russian judge would have to give these fans a 10 for their trolling efforts
They held up these very conspicuous pictures while Tony Parker was the free throw line during Saturday’s game 3 of the Western Conference Finals, in Memphis.
The Spurs eventually won in OT, but still, their trolling efforts deserve a valiant round of applause.
