Tony Parker will be active and available for Friday’s home game vs the Jazz, returning earlier than expected. After injuring his ankle March 1st against the Sacramento Kings, Parker was estimated to miss about four weeks when an MRI revealed a left ankle sprain, but a return tonight would make it exactly three weeks the All-Star point guard has been sidelined. The Spurs, who have gone 6-2 in his absence, hold a 2.5 game lead over the Thunder for the top spot in the Western Conference.
According to Dan McCarney, Spurs Nation:
All-Star point guard Tony Parker is active and available for Friday’s home game against Utah, the Spurs announced at shootaround. He is officially listed as probable.
