The Toronto Raptors have "no interest" in trading for Carlos Boozer, according to the Toronto Star's Doug Smith.
Earlier this week, Bulls beat writer K.C. Johnson reported that Toronto has a standing offer from Chicago to swap Carlos Boozer and Nate Robinson for Andrea Bargnani and John Lucas III before the February 21 trade deadline.
But the Raptors aren't biting, Smith writes.
But my information remains as it was a week or so ago, there is no
interest in taking on either Boozer or his more-costly contract.
The Bulls wouldn't be making the deal to score a better player. Bargnani is in the midst of another injury-plagued season. It's also his
worst statistically of the last four seasons (averaging 14.8 points and
3.8 rebounds).
Boozer is playing well for the scrappy Bulls team, averaging 15.7 points and 9.3 rebounds in 49 games.
