The Denver Nuggets recently had an impressive 15 game winning streak of their own, and if not for the Miami Heat’s amazing 27 game winning streak, they probably would have been the darlings of the NBA for a few weeks. Nuggets guard Ty Lawson is a confident player and that confidence has seemed to trickle down to the rest of his teammates. Lawson thinks the 50-24 Nuggets could beat the Heat in a playoff series according to Fox Sports Florida. “I think so,’’ Lawson said when asked if the Nuggets could beat the Heat for the title. “They beat us twice early in the year when we weren’t really in sync. We were still trying to find ourselves. So I feel like if we play them now it would be a better game and we could actually beat them.’’ Lawson was asked what the Nuggets could do to disrupt the Heat, and win a 7 game series. “Teamwork, and we could throw a lot of people at LeBron (James) and (Dwyane Wade), and not just one person,’’ Lawson said. “We can throw (Andre) Iguodala and (Danilo Gallinari) and Corey Brewer and Wilson (Chandler). You can throw so many people at (them). And then we have so many weapons.’’ The Nuggets are a confident group, but beating the Heat in seven, I don’t know.

Ty Lawson Believes Denver Nuggets Could Beat Miami Heat In NBA Finals

No doubt about it, the Denver Nuggets are a completely different team currently than they were during the first 20 games of the season; they have found their stride in lieu of their offense, have been nearly unstoppable at home, and their defensive efficiency has made strides from a ranked 19th last season to 11th [...]The post Ty Lawson Believes Denver Nuggets Could Beat Miami Heat...

Nuggets Center JaVale McGee: Having ADD is Fun

Denver Nuggets center JaVale McGee has a history of making some odd plays on the basketball court that will have you sitting there wondering what is the young player thinking. This time though, McGee’s comments off the court have me wondering what in the world the young center is thinking. Apparently McGee suffers from extreme Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), something that...

Pay Andre Iguodala

It's probably hard to imagine turning down close to $20 million in guaranteed money but Denver Nuggets swingman Andre Iguodala told Fox Sports Florida he's planning on opting out of the final year of his deal this summer, forgoing a guaranteed $16 million to seek a long term deal.  Iguodala was quick to note that opting out of his contract a year early has nothing to do...

Denver Nuggets: JaVale McGee ADD Comments Insensitive and of Poor Taste.

JaVale McGee has never been thought of as a beacon of maturity and has one of the lowest basketball IQ’s ever in the NBA, but he has had his best NBA season this year as a member of the Denver Nuggets. This year he has not been discussed in the media too much, which is actually a positive for him, because 90% of the talk about McGee is usually about some mistake he has made on...

Nuggets JaVale McGee thinks having ADD makes him a fun guy

Nuggets big man JaVale McGee is quirky. From his alter ego of Pierre- which he doesn’t bring out to play anymore but I wouldn’t mind a come back – to his habit of RT himself on Twitter, it’s easy to see that McGee is “different.” How does “different” manifest itself on the court? Well McGee has been a frequent contributor to Shaq’s “Inside the NBA” segment,...

Nuggets-Jazz Preview

For a coach who has lost the key component of his offense so close to the postseason, George Karl doesn't seem very worried. With capable backups at the ready at point guard, the Nuggets try to adjust without Ty Lawson on Wednesday night when they play a surging Utah Jazz team fighting to make the playoffs. Lawson missed three games earlier this month with a strained heel before...
