Chris Mullin has been offered a consultant role in the Sacramento Kings' front office. Mullin was the top basketball executive for the Golden State Warriors from 2004-09, spending time with then-assistant GM Pete D'Alessandro. Bringing Mullin into the front office would fuel speculation about the Kings' possible pursuit of Monta Ellis. Ellis was drafted by Mullin in 2005.
