The Philadelphia 76ers got their redepmtion after holding the New Orleans Hornets to a franchise-low point total, coasting to a 77-62 win on Wednesday night. Evan Turner and Jrue Holliday led the Sixers (2-2) with 14 points, with Holliday adding 12 assists.  Philadelphia trailed 37-36 at halftime due in part to 14 early turnovers, after averaging an NBA record, 11.8 turnovers a game, last season. But the 76ers took better care of the ball in the final 24 minutes, turning it over just one time while forcing the Hornets into just 9 of 32 shooting and an overall 20+ turnovers overall. Statistically at the end of the game, the Hornets finshed with more turnovers than they had made baskets. New Orleans made just nine shots in the second half and turned it over a total of 14 times.  The 76ers shifted the momentem of the game in the opening four minutes of the third quarter when it went on a 10-0 run. Thaddeus Young was the most efficient against the Hornets Wednesday night. Thad shot 6 for 8 from the field for 12 points while grabbing 10 of Philadelphia's rebounds. The 76ers take on division rival,  Boston Celtics, Friday night. With the makings of a strong run in the works for the Broad Street Bullies, the city is looking forward to a Sixers stampede some time soon. Tyler R.
