PLAYERS: Raja Bell
TEAMS: Utah Jazz
The Utah Jazz have finally waived Raja Bell, however, since the he was released after March 1, the 36-year-old vet is ineligible to play in the playoffs with another team.  Bell, who wasn’t on good terms with the Jazz, hasn’t played an NBA game since March 15, 2012. According to The Salt Lake Tribune: The Utah Jazz’s year-long standoff with guard Raja Bell came to an end Sunday when they waived the 36-year-old. The move opens up a roster spot for the Jazz, which according to a league source they will use to sign D-League All-Star Game MVP Travis Leslie to a 10-day contract. The Jazz and Bell failed to reach a buyout agreement by March 1, which would have allowed Bell to be eligible to play in the postseason with another team.

Utah Jazz: Old Ways or New?

The Utah Jazz have lost 6 of their past 7 games. Ugly. This is obviously not going to cut it if they hope to make the playoffs, especially with Kobe and the Lakers surging. You can hate him or you can love him, but when Kobe says something, he’ll do anything to make sure it happens. Such is the misfortune of the Utah Jazz as they hope to keep a playoff spot and do enough to hold...

Bill Oram of the Salt Lake...
