Bush League Chronicle:
Don't look now, but the Golden State Warriors have more wins (15) than the Miami Heat (14) at the moment after slipping past the reigning world champions 97-95 on Wednesday.LeBron James paced Miami with a game-high 31 points albeit in a losing cause. He was also on the receiving end of a pretty nasty fall about midway through the second quarter.Watch as James takes a pass, drives the lane, and is then fouled hard by Golden State's David Lee en route to the basket. Lee was hit with a flagrant foul because of the play and James was awarded two free throws. He sank both to give the Heat a 2-point advantage at the time.

If you were to check out most people's cell phone wallpaper, you'd probably get a mix of photos from significant others/spouses, memorable days, or vacations. For an NBA star like LeBron James, he has idol facing him:The wallpaper on Lebron James' cellphone apparently is a digitally created photo of himself standing in triple-threat position as Michael Jordan, in his prime...
LeBron James plans to play through a sore shoulder and be on the floor Saturday night for the Miami Heat in a game against Washington. James sat out practice Friday with a bruised shoulder that was aggravated during a fall in Wednesday night's loss to Golden State. He continues to receive treatment on the shoulder, which he was he said was numb for a while before the soreness...
MIAMI -- LeBron James seemed to take Wednesday's loss about as hard as he did one earlier this fall to New Orleans.
That would be an October preseason defeat to the Hornets.
James' Heat lost, 97-95, to the Golden State Warriors at AmericanAirlines Arena, their third defeat in five games. In previous Heat seasons, such a slump would have led the national media to descend...
LeBron James isn’t the same galaxy as Micheal Jordan, nope. — And it’s going to be a while longer, still. James, though to his credit does have a Championship ring, but that’s 5 behind Jordan. — Plus let me ask you this, who would you rather have the ball in their hands in the final [...]
Looks like he lent the Heat a helping hand…I mean foot.
Miami and Atlanta met up Monday night in a matchup between the Southeast Division’s top two teams. The Heat walked away with the 101-92 LeBron James’ game high 27 points, Dwyane Wade’s 26 points, and some fancy footwork by referee Karl Lane.
With the Heat down by one late in the second quarter, James rebounded a Hawks...
Dwyane Wade is old, well, he’s 30 but he’s playing old. His athleticism has declined and he’s lost a step. It’s nothing to be ashamed of but it explains his mood swings on the court and his transition from legit game to playing dirty like an old man at the Y.
And it started a couple of seasons ago, became apparent during the playoffs last year and is flat out obvious this...
Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade is determined to show everyone including TNT analyst Charles Barkley, who often says Wade's game is falling off rapidly, that he is still one of the best.
Wade claims he doesn't hear the criticism from Barkley. "I'm not the all-time leading scorer around here for nothing," said Wade via FOX Sports Florida after going 11 of 13...
MIAMI The Miami Heat are in decent position to become the first team since the 1990 Los Angeles Lakers to have three All-Star starters. With the first fan balloting returns having been announced Thursday for the Feb. 17 All-Star Game in Houston, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade are locks to again be starters. LeBron James and Kobe Bryant are the leading vote-getters, while
Jeremy Lin has a chance to bring Linsanity to the NBA All-Star
Over the past year or so, many have begun to wonder whether Dwyane Wade’s game is falling off as he gets older. For a player whose game is so based on his athletic ability, it’s a legitimate concern for someone who is now 30 years old.
Charles Barkley is one of the people who believe Wade is already on the downswing, as he has been vocal recently about...
Ref helps the Heat OK, so maybe Dallas Maverick owner Mark Cuban was right after all. The Heat have the refs in their pocket. LeBron James throws an outlet pass too far, but a ref “trying” to get out of the way ends up kicking the ball back to Mario Chalmers who ends up getting [...]
Carmelo Anthony is a greater personal defensive challenge for Kobe Bryant than LeBron James.
ORLANDO -- The Orlando Magic got a big game from an unheralded set of reserves Friday night, riding to a 99-85 victory over the previously red-hot Golden State Warriors. The Magic (9-13) remain the only Eastern Conference team to beat the Warriors (15-8) this season, doing it for the second time in 11 days. The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for the Warriors, who had...
