The San Antonio Spurs won a nail-biter against the Oklahoma City Thunder last night 86-84 thanks to a game-winning shot by Tony Parker.  The entire game was filled with many highlight-worthy plays but none were bigger than Tim Duncan smashing one down on shot-blocker extraordinaire Thunder's Serge Ibaka, blocking scoring machine Kevin Durant and Parker's game winner. Ibaka Be Blocka…But What Else?

In the preseason, people were asking me if they should take Serge Ibaka in the third round or the fourth round, as if those were the only two options. Sure, he’s great with the blockin’ and all, but I do not consider him a well rounded Center. Last night’s game is about what I expected, although with more rebounds and less blocks: 4 points, 9 rebounds, 2 blocks. His value...

2012-2013 NBA Regular Season: Tim Duncan Dunks On Serge Ibaka

Parker's buzzer-beater a pain reliever for Spurs over Thunder

In consecutive nights, San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker was given the ball on the perimeter, definitely not Parker’s strong suit, and both times Parker delivered with a late-game three-pointer to give the Spurs a chance at a win. Tonight it was even sweeter as Parker hit the three and followed with a buzzer-beater on a midrange jumper that swished through the net as time...

San Antonio's Tim Duncan posterizes Serge Ibaka (Video)

Tim Duncan can still dunk kids; Tim vs. Serge Ibaka

LOW BUDGET GOLD

Thunder players star in hilarious car dealer ad

Here is Reggie Jackson, Serge Ibaka, Nick Collison, Thabo Sefolosha and Kendrick Perkins of the Oklahoma City Thunder starring in one of those local television spots that turn out to be unintentional comedic gold.  Usually it’s because these low budget ads are so terribly cheesy that they’re funny, but this one turned out to be quite good not because of the the horrific singing...

Perhaps the most emotion Kawhi Leonard will show this season (Photo)

When San Antonio Spurs' Tony Parker nailed the game-winning shot on the Oklahoma City Thunder last night, the players rushed him to celebrate the win. There were smiles all around, hugs being given and all around jubilation. Kawhi Leonard, also rushed TP to congratulate his teammate, but in true Kawhi fashion, showed little emotion. This might be the biggest "grin"...

Spurs outlast Hornets in Halloween night opener

Wednesday night in New Orleans wasn’t exactly scripted as planned. The San Antonio Spurs, who finished with the best record in the Western Conference last season and had their entire team back, struggled against the number one overall pick Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Hornets Wednesday, however by the end of the night, the ending result was similar to the original script...
