Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

There are dunks, and then there’s what Giannis Antetokounmpo did to Tim Hardaway Jr. and the New York Knicks on Tuesday. There are posters, and then there’s jumping over a player who is 6-foot-6 to dunk a basketball.

And if that’s not insulting enough, Hardaway Jr. would eventually leave the game with an injury. But that’s not all. After the game, Giannis would have a little more fun. When asked about the dunk?

Khris was going, I knew he was going to throw me the lob. It was a bad pass by Khris, but I was able to get up and go get the ball. I did not see Tim Hardaway under me. I just went up there and just went hard and tried to get the ball and dunk the ball.

That’s just cold-blooded, man. The guy is 6-foot-6. There’s almost no way Giannis didn’t see him.

But most importantly, Giannis and the Bucks would get the win Tuesday night. They are now 7-1 since firing Jason Kidd. Their only loss? A blowout effort against the Minnesota Timberwolves, which is nothing to hang their heads about. Point is, they are playing good basketball and beating the teams they should be beating.

But Giannis remains at the center of it all. Right now, his Bucks are 30-23 and fifth out east. They are just a half-game behind the Wizards and Cavaliers. And there’s plenty of basketball left.
