Former Celtic and NBA Dunk Contest champ Nate Robinson had a pretty sweet dunk during last night's Bulls-Bucks game. Stacey King (who played 5 games for the C's), was doing commentary on the game and goes nuts after Nate's dunk, mentioning that he has been waiting for little Nate Robinson to dunk this year.
I would love to see Nate Robinson in the dunk contest this year, along with Jeff Green and former Celtic/NBA Dunk Contest champ Gerald Green.

Nate Robinson explodes to the rim for a one handed dunk off a back door cut during the Bulls victory over the Bucks on Wednesday evening. It was the 5’9” 3x dunk champion’s first dunk since the 2010-2011 season as he is heard yelling after the throw down “I want my money” to Rip Hamilton who he made a bet with that he would have one this year:
Robinson was a late Bulls addition this season and said he wasn’t concerned before Thibodeau contacted him as he thought he’d play in the NFL this season if he didn’t land with and NBA.
It’s Nate’s world.
”I was going to (try for a) tryout (with the Seahawks) and play football,” said Robinson. “If no team wanted me for basketball I was going to play football.”
The Chicago Bulls entered this season with a dark cloud hanging over their heads. Derrick Rose was unavailable until further notice. Crucial role players, including C.J. Watson, John Lucas III, Ronnie Brewer, and Omer Asik had all left to pursue more money, and more playing time, elsewhere. The year had already been a dry one in Chicago. The Cubs finished with fewer than 70 wins...

Guard Kirk Hinrich has returned to Chicago to have his right elbow examined, and the Bulls also played without center Joakim Noah and forward Carlos Boozer when they faced the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night.
Hinrich has been hampered by injuries for much of the season. He is averaging 7.0 points in 40 games.
He started Chicago's 104-88 victory at Milwaukee on Wednesday and finished...
The plea from Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng to British Prime Minister David Cameron has worked: Funding will be restored to the country's Olympic basketball program.
Britain's men's and women's basketball squads were told in December they'd receive no funding for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics. UK Sport distributes the money and on Friday said basketball...
Chicago Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich has returned to Chicago to have his right elbow examined, and he will not play in the Bulls' game against Brooklyn on Friday, the team announced. He will be evaluated by Bulls head team physician Dr. Brian Cole. Hinrich's status will be determined after that examination. Hinrich has started all 40 games in which he has played this season...
Joakim Noah was sidelined Friday night in Brooklyn due to plantar fasciitis in his right foot and has no timetable on a return:

Chicago Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said Wednesday that Derrick Rose is now taking “full contact” and the only thing left in his return from ACL surgery is putting in more time and then getting acclimated to a game situation.
“He’s full contact, yeah,” Thibodeau said before Wednesday’s morning shoot-around as the Bulls prepared to face the Milwaukee Bucks.
There are several athletes in the major pro sports that we talk about in terms of what it would be like if they played another sport.
A lot of the time the question revolves around basketball players transitioning to the NFL or vice versa. Some of those athletes were great in dual sports and think about making the jump.
Chicago Bulls point guard Nate Robinson was once an All American...
MILWAUKEE -- There would be no comeback this time. After surrendering double-digits leads in their last two losses against Milwaukee, the Chicago Bulls put a halt to every attempt at a surge Wednesday, holding on to beat the Bucks 104-88 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Nate Robinson scored 16 of his game-high 24 points in the second quarter, and five other Bulls players scored...
