This is one of the better huddle-bombs you’re going to see. Pierce doesn’t even try to sneak in…. he just walks right up brazenly, right past Spencer Hawes, who looks directly at him, and drapes his arm around two Sixers to listen in on the last few seconds. It’s so great, none of the Sixers even get pissed. It’s like the end of an old Mentos commercial when everyone should be irate… or at the very least mildly irritated… but the act is so over the top, all we can do is laugh and pop a mint.

According to Forsberg of the worldwide leader local branch, Paul Pierce is now battling a bone bruise on his left knee. He suffered the injury in Philly, but it appeared to affect his play last night in Indiana shooting just 4 of 15 for just 13 points. He did play 34 minutes which is a good sign, but was seen with an ice pack on his knee in postgame interviews. I wouldn’t expect...
Sometimes gaining an added advantage against a team isn't the moral thing to do but it's still entertaining for us to view.During Wednesday night's Boston Celtics/Philadelphia 76ers match, Celtics forward Paul Pierce decided to enter a 76ers huddle and do some recon work:(Courtesy of Red's Army)
Doc Rivers is leaving it up to Paul Pierce whether or not he should sit out a game to help recuperate the pinched nerve in his neck.
According to Boston Globe, Courtney Lee said Pierce has a “get out of playing” card he has yet to cash in.
While it makes sense for Doc to let Pierce sit out a game if he asked for a night off, (it's not like Rivers is going to say, “No...
These are the moments Paul Pierce lives for.
The score was tied, the Celtics had possession and there was enough time for one final shot to steal a road win against one of the NBA’s elite clubs. In almost every similar situation previously, the ball has gone to Pierce, his teammates have cleared his side of the floor and the shifty veteran has gone to work for the inevitable, contested...
After getting the day off on Sunday, Celtics leaders Doc Rivers, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett were all back at practice on Monday preparing for the Celtics match-up versus the 76ers tonight in Philly.

Paul Pierce had 18 points and 11 rebounds, and Avery Bradley scored 22 points to lead the Boston Celtics to a 109-101 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night.
Kevin Garnett scored 18 points to help the Celtics continued their push up the Eastern Conference standings. The Celtics entered in seventh, but were no more than two games behind the next three teams ahead in the...
The Boston Celtics four-game winning streak could be attributed to their "manwich" zone, which they used in Wednesday night's come-from-behind victory over the Indiana Pacers.
The Boston Celtics shutout the Pacers in the final 4 minutes and 36 seconds of the game. The Pacers missed seven shots and turned the ball over three times in their fina
Thanks to New England Sports Network’s Celtics writer Ben Watanabe, I chimed in with the Boston Celtics’ duo — Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett — to discuss their progression in the 2013 season as well as a preview of how this season and beyond may pan out.
In the NBA, practice is the most important aspect for young guys, but for the older class players, like No. 34 and No....
There is a famous scene in “Star Wars: A New Hope” where Han Solo and Chewbacca are fleeing from an angry and clumsy group of Stormtroopers trying to make their way to the Milennium Falcon. As they are running down the corridor, you can hear one of the troopers yell ‘CLOSE THE BLAST DOORS!’ As the doors are slowly closing, Han and Chewie hop through cleanly, leaving all...
Finally, Doc Rivers listens to the fans and calls a play at the end of the game that isn't just a Paul Pierce iso. And it was awesome.
Best win of the year? Best play of the year? Yes on both accounts.

Good road win for the Celtics. The Sixers have had it rough with injuries this season. Poor Sixers fans want to root for a loss for more ping pong balls but they hate the Celtics so much that they are torn about it. Great game by Bradley. I've highlighted a few favorites. What are yours?
All the teams are tanking right now. Very hard to make progress in draft order...
Let me be honest: This game was billed as a potential playoff preview but Indiana is a team I’d rather avoid. The Pacers are a very good team, probably the only real challenger to the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference. A Celtics-Pacers series sounds like a more graceful version of last year’s grindy Celtics-76ers tilt, except this time the odds wouldn’t be in the Celtics...
3:26 p.m.: Nobody in Philly seems particularly optimistic about Bynum suiting up this season.
Bob Ford of the Philadelphia Inquirer joined the chorus on Tuesday with a revealing column on the big man, who seems even farther from playing for the Sixers — ever — after saying last week that he would not play with pain. Sixers beat reporters found this little detail, uh, interesting...
