Golden State Warriors guard Charlie Bell reportedly showed up drunk to his DUI hearing and was held in police custody Thursday, according WJRT-TV.
Bell was due to appear in court in Flint Michigan on a drunk driving charge from October. He registered .09 in a blood-alcohol test that was scheduled before the hearing. The legal limit in Michigan is .08.
Bell was scheduled to return to court Friday after being held on a bond violation until he sobered up.
Bell played in just 19 games for the Warriors last season and has split time between the NBA and professional leagues in Europe.
