The NBA Passionista:
It’s a good thing the Denver Nuggets won this particular game, or I’d still be drinking myself into a stupor. Tuesday night, Samuel Dalembert had a career night posting 35 points, 17-of-21, 12 rebounds in 27 minutes. Yeah, Samuel freaking Dalembert. Wanna watch all 35 of his points? We’ll all remember what we were doing the [...]The post Watch Samuel Dalembert Drop 35 Points Vs. Denver Nuggets (Video) appeared first on The NBA Mistress.

The Denver Post is reporting that the Denver Nuggets have expressed interest in Kevin Garnett. Unfortunately for the Nuggets, this feeling is a one way street:Through his representatives, Garnett has let it be known he has no current interest in the Nuggets. No surprise there, as the article goes on to call Denver a “fly-over city” and not a desirable destination for most...
Red. Hot. Scorching. Streaking. Heat Check. Insatiable. The Denver Nuggets are all of those things, plus many more. At one point, they were 17-15 in December, and now are sitting at the 4th seed with a 32-18 record and a 22-3 home record. The Denver Nuggets are home cookin’ like no other team in the [...]The post Denver Nuggets Playing With A Hunger appeared first on The NBA Mistress.
Samuel Dalembert dominated with Larry Sanders injured and Ersan Ilyasova in foul trouble.
Sam Dam made 17-of-21 shots for 35 points, and the reserve center added 12 rebounds, two assists and a block. He's owned in 35 percent of Yahoo leagues, and is worth a look, especially if Sanders misses time.
Dalembert's minutes have been erratic this season. In his previous two...
Looking for the shot of the Tuesday night in the NBA? We here at That NBA Lottery Pick have a great shot from Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari to present to you.In the waning moments of the Nuggets/Bucks game, Denver's Ty Lawson was able to take the ball from Bucks guard Brandon Jennings and started a fastbreak attempt. The ball ended up in the hands of Gallinari on a 3-on-1 advantage...
JaVale McGee's return from a shin injury was memorable, not for his stat line but Samuel Dalembert's. The Bucks' reserve center lit up McGee for 35 points.
McGee, who suffered a left tibia irritation about a week ago, played 18 minutes and went for eight points, five rebounds and four blocks. The blocks aren't shabby, but McGee didn't have a great night.
The Denver Nuggets have a glaring need for a real presence in the post. Kevin Garnett, though a year older and slower, would definitely fill that need. According to the Denver Post, the Nuggets have reached out to the Celtics to try to strike a deal to bring Garnett to Denver, but there’s one problem. Garnett doesn’t want any part of a trade that would send him to Denver.
This shot has potential to be the number one play of the year. I feel like you could attempt this 100 times in the gym and miss it 100 times. The strange part is you wouldn't be upset that you couldn't replicate this shot. Not even once. While we dream of making trick shots in games at our local gyms, Gallo is living the dream on the biggest stage.
Two nights removed from the NFL season, the NBA wasted zero time pouring on the action and reminding its fans why they’re currently the biggest and best show in town. The schedule was light, just five games, but still, some of the NBA’s best storylines of the season emerged. Some players will forever live in infamy for getting posterized (Gerald Wallace and Kris Humphries...
Denver Nuggets’ Kenneth Faried has been selected to take part in the Sprite Slam Dunk competition in Houston on February 16. Faried joins defending champion Jeremy Evans of the Utah Jazz and Eric Bledsoe of the Los Angeles Clippers on the Western Conference team. They will compete against Gerald Green of the Indiana Pacers, Terrence [...]The post James White, Kenneth Faried Named...
