One player went straight to the deck; the other went straight to the showers.Sacramento Kings forward Thomas Robinson was ejected during the fourth quarter of a Wednesday night game against the Detroit Pistons for intentionally throwing an elbow to the throat of Jonas Jerebko.
Robinson, who departed the game with two points and seven rebounds in 12 minutes, could face disciplinary action, including a fine and/or suspension, from the NBA league office for the unsportsmanlike and dangerous play. After the game, Robinson apologized on Twitter: “Apologize for my actions mistakes happen I take full responsibility lost my cool will never happen again!”
I loved T-Rob at Kansas so I’m giving him a pass on this one. If this was a Ron Artest or someone of that nature it would be a different story. Keep playing hard kid! On an unrelated note, the Kings have a lot of good players; why do they suck so bad?
