Who Wants Pau? LA Lakers Receive: Kyle Lowry and Luis Scola Houston Rockets Receive: Pau Gasol and Darius Morris - The Rockets have been after Pau Gasol for two years and he would be playing for them currently if David Stern had not vetoed the three team Chris Paul trade. The Lakers still need a legitimate point guard and Lowry is one of the better point guards in the league. Previously thought untouchable, Lowry could be had for the right price after Goran Dragic’s explosion in the second half of the year. Add in the recent comments by Lowry regarding his distaste for coach Kevin McHale and it seems that Lowry could be moved and soon. Scola would step right into the starting lineup and give about 2/3’s of Gasol’s production for about half the price.  For Houston, they would be getting a legitimate star, which they have needed for years and a young backup point guard in Morris, who they could develop behind Dragic.
