Washington-wizards-draft
John Wall has missed the entire season.  The Washington Wiazards' point guard suffered a stress reaction in his knee that has kept him sidelined up to this point.  The fear during Wall's recovery was that if he was brought back too soon, he could suffer a fracture in the knee.  Now, though, Wall has been cleared to play.According to Jeff Zillgitt of USA Today Sports says Wall has been given full medical clearance to take the court tonight against the Atlanta Hawks.  He will be guiding a 5-28 team that is looking for an identity.  They are looking to at least be competitve.  Wall may be able to help there, but it could take some time."I haven't played in so long so you're going to be anxious and excited, so I'll probably get tired in 30 seconds because I haven't played in so long," Wall said. "I'm excited to be out there with my teammates and just have fun and finally get a chance to play with the teammates I wanted to play with all season."Wall infused excitement into the Wizards as soon as he was drafted.  In his first two years in the league, he proved he could be one of the most explosive players on the court.  Wall averaged 16.3 points per game and 8.0 assists per game last year.  Overall, he has averaged 16.3 points and 8.2 assists per game. The Wizards will need more than Wall if they are going to compete next season, but at least the fans will have an exciting player to watch.  That's about all the team can offer now as Wall makes his return.
