If you’ve read this blog at all in the past then you know how I feel about this current Wizards team. For the past few years they’ve been one of the dumbest, most mistake prone teams the NBA has ever seen. Having said that, the deal the team made yesterday at the trade dealine left me more confused than hopeful. The trade is as follows: The Wizards traded our young, incredibly raw starting center JaVale McGee and Ronny Turiaf to the Denver Nuggets for their veteran center Nene. Along with that the Wizards shipped starting shooting guard Nick Young off to the Los Angeles Clippers for forward Brian Cook and a 2nd round pick in 2015. As I’ve said time and time again, the Wiz needed to get smarter. They needed actual professionals surrounding John Wall in order for the franchise to move forward. So, considering both Young and McGee were slated to be free agents this coming summer (unrestricted and restricted respectively) the Wizards front office was wise to move them when they coul...

WAIT, WHAT?? Apparently JaVale thinks he is the bee’s knees, but this really did happen: In addition to his on-court struggles, it appears that Wizards center JaVale McGee is a bit delusional. Young happy to return to LA

Clippers management asked Nick Young whether he knew the way to Staples Center, but of course he did. He could drive it from memory. And as the Los Angeles native, who starred at Reseda Cleveland High and then at USC, weaved along the freeways of his youth Saturday, he did so slowly, and not just because of rain or traffic. "I was just trying to take this all in, as I was...
