nets 115 wizards 1131/4/2013 - Verizon Center, Washington, DCESPN BoxscoreNBA.com Game Highlights   Despite the loss, I'm going to hand out the MVP award to three players: Nene, Jordan Crawford, and the rookie, Bradley Beal.  The three combined for 67 points. Just a great game and overall effort by the Wizards.  Nene excited the home crowd with a buzzer beater to send the game to the first overtime, before Beal nailed a dagger to force the game to a second overtime. Brad ended up with 24 points, six rebounds, four dimes and three steals. Nene finished with 20 and six, while Jordan scored 23 points and grabbed six rebounds. Bradley Beal: His dunk alone was more deserving than just the WE Spotlight. I mean can we get some love on SportsCenter’s Top 10??  Bradley played one hell of a game.  He was exciting especially with his step back 3 pointer that forced the second overtime.  You can see the kid growing. He was much more effective off the dribble. Joe Johnson: Joe was huge even though he had a quiet 18 points but that’s because the Wizards would double team him every time he touched the ball.  The game winner jumper was all he wrote. Being double teamed meant the ball out of his hands, but as one of the best players in the league, he let it be known towards the end of the game. He finished the game shooting 7-14 from the field.     The GoodNene: There were small chants of ‘MVP!’ when Nene stepped to the free throw line, and rightfully so. I'd personally tout him as the Wizards best player and MVP thus far this season. Although he hit the layup that forced the game into overtime, he unfortunately fouled out soon after. Nene has been pretty good with the limited time he has gotten. As the season progresses so will his increase in playing time. PS - there was some buzz heard that John Wall will play in two weeks.   The BadAndray Blatche: Blatche actually had a good game, ended up with a double–double scoring 13 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.  It was bad because he got boo’d everytime he touched the ball or was involved in a play. Funny thing is he was treated the exact same way as a Washington Wizard.  Blatche said before the game, “I just feel like they need to let it go (fans/media). Let it go, I’m gone. You wanted me gone, and you’re still not happy. It doesn’t make sense." The UglyJan Vesely and his free throw shooting: The Wizards played a good game.  They shot a high percentage, played good defense. So there wasn’t anything ugly about this “loss or win”.  But Vesely again had as many points as he had fouls at three each. I couldn’t help but laugh out loud. This was truly ugly. Oh, and after the latest loss, the Wizards remain on pace to be one of the worst NBA records in league history. Ouch. Random Facts:  *5 Wizards in double figures: Beal (24), Crawford (23), Okafor (13), Webster (14), Nene (20).* Garrett Temple continues to be productive. He had 8 points and 11 assists.  Not bad for the former D-Leaguer. In case you missed it:Bradley Beal's dunk on Marshawn Brooks
