Encountering traffic near the hoop, a leaping Rondo kicked the ball out to Kevin Garnett, but landed awkwardly and could be seen hobbling back out toward the 3-point arc as Boston retained possession. Celtics coach Doc Rivers admitted he was unsure of the exact play in which the injury occurred, but said he believed it to be in the fourth quarter against the Hawks. Danny Ainge is saying he hasn't decided what he's going to do with the Celtics. It was looking unlikely that the Celtics would be able to contend this season without a major trade. The Loss of A Star: The Aftermath of the Rondo Injury

Your Morning Dump… Where Ray’s Return is the Least of the Celtics’ Problems

Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. Instead they are a mess, with a befuddled Doc Rivers...

Doc Rivers, Heat Weigh In On Ray Allen’s Return To Boston

Ray Allen will return to TD Garden Sunday night for the first time since leaving his team of 5 years and joining the rival Miami Heat. Courtney Lee, Jared Sullinger to continue starting

Comments from the Other Side - Hawks 1/25

Well, that wasn't fun.  It's becoming clear that the bench is finally coming around but now the starters are slumping.  The second unit gave us that big lead in the second quarter and then it went away when the starters came back in.  But there's progress.  We  at least got one great half of basketball.    One thing that always strikes me is all the complaints...
