Memphis Grizzlies power forward Zach Randolph will be sidelined for 6-8 weeks with a torn MCL. The injury occurred in the first quarter of the Grizzlies game against the Bulls on Sunday where they got their doors blown off 104-64. Randolph went down and immediately grabbed his right knee and you knew it wasn't going to be good. This injury comes less than a year after Z-Bo carried the Grizz through the playoffs where they eventually lost in seven games to the Thunder in the Western Conference semis. He averaged 22.2 points and 10.8 boards in last years playoffs and he looked unstoppable at times down the stretch. This year he leads Memphis in scoring while averaging just under 15 per game. This is a monumental loss for the Grizzlies; not only is Randolph one of their top options but he is their emotional leader. He's a great veteran presence to have on a young team.
