Zach Randolph missed shoot around and will miss Friday night's game against the Sacramento Kings, according to Grizz sideline reporter Rob Fischer.
The Memphis Grizzlies power forward injured his back in Wednesday night's loss to the San Antonio Spurs. He's considered day-to-day.
Marreese Speights will get fill-in duty (6.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and .7 blocks in 14.3 minutes). Last season, he played well when Z-Bo missed time with injuries. This season, in a start for Randolph, Speights scored 22 points and grabbed 13 points.
Z-Bo is having a solid season: 16.4 points (49.4 FG% and 76.3 FT%), 11.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists, .8 steals and .5 blocks.
